We have been given several sarees as gifts. The colorful sarees are common throughout India, but the beige saree with a golden or colored border is traditional of Kerala, the state we are in currently. Here I am as a saree model. We will be making several appearances in our sarees throughout the trip. I think the Indian families get a kick out of seeing us in the traditional dress. There is a lot of clapping and picture taking.
